Backup info: I'm in Fontana, a small city near Robinsville, North Carolina, with my parents and little brother. My grandparents have had a timeshare here FOREVER and I've been coming here since I was little. There are cabins and trails and little country shops and pools, biking, hiking, jet ski's, boating, it's a little retreat.

Day 1. Wed, March 12th= We got to our cabin, its a 2 story octagon, and its so nice, 2 bed 2 bath, kitchen and everything. I'm glad to get away from everything honestly. My cell phone doesn't work, it kind of sucks, but then again its a welcome change.

Day 2. Thursday, March 13th= Got up at 9, drove out to Cade's Cove walked some trails and saw some old cabins from the 1800's....it was as exciting as it sounds. Raced my little brother down a dirt road, I beat him the first time and he was really sad so I went back and sad lets do it again and he took off early before I got to say go. Went to the grocery store and got some gas, came home I went running (its really hard to run up continuously steep hills) and the came home and ate some pasta and grapes. Bed @ 10:30.

Day 3. Friday, March 14th= Woke up 9, went out to the Marina and looked for a boat but it started to rain so we went to the game room and I beat my mom in air hockey, and took my brother on a motorcycle ride, I got 6th place haha. We went home and my parents took my brother up to the Dam and I went and did some laundry while they were there. They came home and we ate lunch and while my mom and my brother took a nap I went on a walk.

This walk was monumental. I went up a steep trail called the great smoky mountain trail #14. There were a lot of fallen trees and I had to climb through a lot of brush but I eventually went off trail after walking for about 15 min because I could see a clearing in the trees so I climbed up the side of this hill and I came out to this HUGE clearing and there was this side of the mountain that had been taken out, by bulldozers obviously, but there weren't any machinery around and so I climbed up this mountain of clay about 20 feet high and quite steep. when I got to the top I looked around me and what I saw made me tear up. I cannot fully describe what I saw but I can attempt to. I was surrounded by trees a huge circle of 70 ft tall trees and behind the trees i saw the mountains with fog covering the tips. I could not hear anything, no cars, no construction, no cell phone rings or people talking. I heard silence for the first time in my life that i can remember I heard UTTER silence. when i looked down from this huge clay hill a field of greesn grass laid out in front of me, a clearing about 4 football fields. Soon birds flew over and they spoke to each other as I was just standing there, it had been sprinkling the entire way up the trail but it stopped when I got to the clearing. I began walking down the side of the clay hill and the wind picked up, mind you, I am surrounded by a entire FOREST so the trees made low groaning sounds and the leaves whstled in the wind. I will never forget how beautiful that moment was. ever.

I love first period and lunch with my favorite girl miss Brittany Jones. Team supreme.

Schools good, I have straight A's for now. Cross country is good. Ran my first meet last Saturday.

I have SATS this Sat and then work. senior womens meeting Sunday after work, then the 13th i go to islands of adventure with FBLA. whoot!

I'm stressed, no doubt, theres a lot to get straight this year, it's pretty tough.

Im out. New episode of HOUSE. heh.

So yesterday I was up at the school and noticed that they were taking a bunch of old used books out and getting rid of them. I called my boyfriend and told him about it, so he went up there later and asked the guy loading the books if he could have some, the guy continued to explain that absolutely he could have one and he was using the majority of them to send to kids in Africa that don't have the privilege of having books and that he'd bought the books from the school. I'm taking Spanish 2 and Law next year to he grabbed those books and I have them now. I wrote down my schedule for next year and got curious when writing psychology. What does that word really mean? I know that it deals with people and the way one thinks and acts.... but theres more to it, there always is. In my search i bumped into THE VITRUVIAN MAN, Leonardo da Vinci's drawing and notes. its actually quite interesting.

According to Leonardo's notes in the accompanying text, written in mirror writing, it was made as a study of the proportions of the (male) human body as described in a treatise by the Ancient Roman architect Vitruvius, who wrote that in the human body:

* a palm is the width of four fingers
* a foot is the width of four palms
* a cubit is the width of six palms
* a man's height is four cubits (and thus 24 palms)
* a pace is four cubits
* the length of a man's outspread arms is equal to his height
* the distance from the hairline to the bottom of the chin is one-tenth of a man's height
* the distance from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin is one-eighth of a man's
height
* the maximum width of the shoulders is a quarter of a man's height
* the distance from the elbow to the tip of the hand is one-fifth of a man's height
* the distance from the elbow to the armpit is one-eighth of a man's height
* the length of the hand is one-tenth of a man's height
* the distance from the bottom of the chin to the nose is one-third of the length of the
head
* the distance from the hairline to the eyebrows is one-third of the length of the face
* the length of the ear is one-third of the length of the face

Of course I sat here and I did this, it might not be an exact measurement but its amazingly close.

Leonardo is clearly illustrating Vitruvius' De Architectura 3.1.3 which reads:

The navel is naturally placed in the centre of the human body, and, if in a man lying with his face upward, and his hands and feet extended, from his navel as the centre, a circle be described, it will touch his fingers and toes. It is not alone by a circle, that the human body is thus circumscribed, as may be seen by placing it within a square. For measuring from the feet to the crown of the head, and then across the arms fully extended, we find the latter measure equal to the former; so that lines at right angles to each other, enclosing the figure, will form a square.

Well last night Ashton and I went to the mall, we looked at promise rings and he bought me a shirt and himself some new stuff. After shopping we went to see Pirates, good movie, he drove me home and I came home and slept. Work this morning at 7:30, get there and they tell me that they have too many hostesses so they are putting me on stock because they are short. I was so happy, stock is so easy and I can go on my own schedule. Ashton calls me and tells me hes up at CICIs because he was scheduled for 11 but they didn't need him till 5 so he came and picked me up from work and took me home.

Monday: MEMORIAL DAY. Ashton's house, all day<3

Me, my mom and Ashton went to the beach this past Saturday. Today was pretty fun, school was chill minus the Chemistry exam i have a 79 in that class, which is good seeing as I've had a 70 in there all year. After school Me, Ashton and Jon went to Zaxby's, Big Lots, CiCi's and k mart. Then I went home, Rachel came over and we ate pasta and watched HAROLD CRICKS EMINENT DEATH... "stanger than fiction"....It's so nice to finally be sure of something<3

alright so i havent been on here in a while
it looks like im getting things back on track, grades, boys, friends. all that good stuff
i need to remember that i have to let certain things come to me and not go out looking for them. like boys.
i didnt look for him
he just kind of popped up.
so heres the plan that im finally sure about
UNF for the first year, its not expensive, i can still get out of my parents house but im close enough to home that if i need something i can get it.
UGA after my first year.
by then i will have enough scholarships/ money built up to attend the college of my dreams.
its hard to think that i still have a quarter left and all my classes are overpowering me unfortuatly, my parents are helping me, i might actually be realizing that what they are doing is trying to help me and keep me away from all the bad shit in the world, i hate it, and im sure i will still retaliate. but its good that im starting to understand.
i need to start living my life and not moping around wishing i had someone elses.
skrew trying to get skinny man, ive tryed and tryed, but shit i love my food and thats that.
ive been excersizing everyday, and if that makes me lose weight thats great but im not going to obsess over it anymore. all i need is to get through these last few weeks and everything will be okay, i know it.

As always right when i start really liking someone and letting someone in, i get dumped. People wonder why im hate commitment. Shit seriously
Although I was totally disgruntled friday when it happened, I got over it super fast. That night i went to sidneys house and chilled and watched a movie. Of course i couldnt spend the night becuase i had to get up at 6 in the morning to go to work. I thought i had to work all weekend but to my, not so grateful surprise, I had sunday(yesterday)off. Now dont get me wrong I enjpyed sleeping all day and the fact that saturday night i got to spend the night at sidneys house and we chowed down on some tasty grub and watched how to lose a guy in 10 days. Haha almost appropriate, Mike and i lasted 14 days. Anyways the natural reality is that my paycheck is going to be super small becuase i will only have 1 days pay on it. My last paycheck was the smallest one ive gotten so far. I have to put half of every paycheck into the bank, so with that all said and done, i am only going to have enough to buy some new rainbow flip flops.
K jones and i will be hanging out this weekend and we are watching the gator game and also the georgia game (if she lets me).
I need to find someone who can help me with my trig homework. that class is hella hardd.
Im freaked out about college, I dont know where i want to go, what i want to do, or how im going to pay for it. Chris said i should take out a loan but i just dont want to have to spend the rest of my life paying off some mega debt.
i was so tired sunday I took like 2 naps, only becuase sidney and i were awake until 4:00A.M. saturday becuase i was talkign to chris until 2 and sidney was on the phone with her boyfriend zack. then we went downstairs and made some mac and cheese, which was superb.
I think i should write a book, be an author, you know, books about seduction, lust and teenage drama. I started one a while ago and i had about 100 typed pages but i felt that it was so generic that i threw it away.

I hope Uli wins project runway, but then again i like laura and michaels designs too. But seriously vincent is weird as hell.

OKay so i'm in New Jersey right now still dont have any school clothes and school starts in a day. I can hardly type becuase i got my nails done before we went on the trip. we have a 15 hour drive from here to florida tommorrow. from florida to new jersey when we were on the way up it took us 17 and a half hours. from new jersey to canada it took us 17 hours so on the way up it was a total of 34 hours only becuase it was raining when we crossed the border and the traffic was bad in new york and new jersey when we left. but now we are back and im sitting in the chair on the laptop and my little brother is standing behind me brushing my hair. but anyways we are almost home.

We are driving throug New Brunswick, it's 1:30 in the morning and everyone is exhausted. It's rainingand we still hard 2 more hours to get to our hotel. I've been awake since 9:00 this morning and I think I will end up an insomniac by the end of this trip.I sit foward in the front seat and look through the windshield, as the rain is pooring downand the highbeams hit the droplets just right, it seems as if we are flying through billions of little stars. As the rain gets harder it feels as through we are speeding faster and faster. Im so tired I could be princess laiah and all I need is Luke Skywalker.

A 17 1/2 drive isnt as bad as it sounds.
New Jersey was our home last night. We drove through virgnia and washington d.c. yeterday it's so beautiful.
New York was busy but Im glad we finally got to go there.
Maine smells like dead fish and looks as deserted as Baker county.

Theres supposed to be lots of moose and deer up here in Nova Scotia. I've seen lots of deer, in scotland we saw a few and even in the OP country club I had seen a few but ive never seen a mosse walking around OP yet.
